A kid-friendly opera based on The Barber of Seville, Figaro's American Adventure transports Figaro and his band of sneaky barbers to colonial America.


Journey back in time to colonial America where Figaro, along with his band of sneaky barbers and colonial compatriots, leads us on a musical goose chase. Ultimately, he outsmarts his adversary and love triumphs as he helps his friend the Count win the hand of his beloved Rosina. Figaro's American Adventure is our celebration of Rossini's The Barber of Seville by Eli Villanueva and LeRoy Villanueva, and directed by Eli Villanueva.  (Filmed in 2008 at the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall at The Soraya.)
