Do you know a high school student interested or curious about opera and/or theatre?
Our new online Tech Academy gives high school students the opportunity to connect with professional mentors and explore career pathways in theater and opera production and design through a series of specialty workshops. Past workshops include sessions on Stage Management and Lighting/Projection Design. Workshops will resume in the 2021/22 season.
Other things to know:
- Program is free, but spots are limited and reservations are required.
- Each workshop includes opportunities for continued mentorship with LA Opera professionals and a clear path for using school resources to continue their production education
- Workshops are provided safely via an LA Opera Zoom invitation.
