Are you between the ages of 9 and 17 years old and looking to sing, create and challenge yourself in a supportive environment this summer?

Join Opera Camp and let our teaching artists help you find your voice. Everyone is welcome, no matter how much experience you have (or don't have). You just have to want to express yourself through music. And the great thing about this year’s Opera Camp? It's back at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

CREATE MUSIC AND CONNECT WITH YOUR COMMUNITY
Opera Camp is an enriching program where you will develop your artistic abilities in an intense, fun-filled experience, running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. At the end of camp, students will perform a fully-staged opera inspired by the stories of our unique communities.

LEARN FROM PROFESSIONALS
Campers work each day with LA Opera Connects teaching artists, receiving extensive musical, dramatic and movement coaching.

CONNECT WITH FRIENDS
Art has the power to connect us all and turn strangers into family. Create a connection to people who love the arts as much as you do.

THINGS TO KNOW

  • Opera Camp is open to students ages 9-17.
  • We ask that all campers sign up for an audition so that we can get to know you (details in application).

Applications will be accepted until the program is full. Applications and audition sign-ups open soon!
