Founded in 1992, Hispanics for LA Opera has been an instrumental part of LA Opera's success, presenting a wide variety of social, educational and cultural activities.
2023 HLAO AWARDS DINNER
After careful consideration, a decision has been made to postpone the 2023 HLAO Awards Dinner originally scheduled for Sunday, February 26 to a date yet to be announced in Fall 2023. LA Opera along with the Chair of the HLAO Steering Committee feel that a yet-to-be-announced production in the 2023/24 season will provide a unique opportunity to celebrate not only our dedicated awardees, Greg Nava and Eli Villanueva, but also an exciting new work, spotlighting two of Mexico’s most iconic visionaries, and the many artists who will be involved in bringing it to our stage.
