Holley Replogle-Wong is a teacher, scholar, and musician. She received her PhD in Musicology from UCLA in 2009, with a dissertation on musical theater. She has taught courses on film music, popular music, American musical theater, and western music history at UC Berkeley, Chapman University, and UCLA. Currently, she is a Lecturer in Musicology at UCLA, and the Program Director of the UCLA Center for Musical Humanities. Holley has been a music director for youth music and musical theater programs at Crossroads, Harvard Westlake, and the Creative Artists Theater Space, and she sings with various Los Angeles-based vocal ensembles, and for the occasional film soundtrack. She lives in the San Fernando Valley with her composer spouse and their three kids.
